Octavius Ellis gets ejected for flagrant 2 foul on Purdue’s A.J. Hammons

Cincinnati and Purdue were pretty evenly matched and even went into an overtime, but Cincy had to go there without the services of Octavius Ellis for a lot of it because of this vicious hit he put on Purdue’s A.J. Hammons.

Ellis had to leave this game, but it won’t have any effect on his next game though. The NCAA rules state that he is eligible to play in the next game in the NCAA Tournament and won’t have to sit out like he would in the regular season.
