Larry Bird Doesn’t Plan On “Hold(ing) Back” Paul George

After the horrific injury Paul George suffered in the Team USA scrimmage over the summer, it was almost unanimously assumed he would not appear in a game for the Pacers this season, despite what he was saying.  As the season has gone on, it’s hard to tell if that is becoming more or less possible based on the Pacers struggles and the very low bar of entry to the Eastern Conference playoffs.  On Tuesday, Larry Bird spoke with the media and offered up the possibility that George might suit up if he’s healthy sometime this season.  Candace Buckner of the Indy Star had the story:
