SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) – Passengers looking for a pick-me-up when flying Delta Air Lines will be able drink Starbucks coffee on all of its flights around the world.

Delta, which is the largest carrier at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, stated Wednesday that it began brewing Starbucks coffee this month on its flights.

“The move continues Delta’s effort to partner with high-quality, like-minded brands in an effort to enhance the overall traveling experience for customers,” Delta stated in a release. “With the expanded partnership, Delta and its Delta Connection partners will serve Starbucks coffee on more than 5,000 flights per day.”

The airline began serving Starbucks in 2013 on its West Coast Shuttle routes between Los Angeles International Airport  and San Francisco International Airport, along with the transcontinental markets New York – JFK International to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
