CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Atlanta) – Wendell Moore is an eighth grade student so skillful in basketball that he is already receiving letters from some of the nation’s best collegiate programs.
Moore is 13-years-old, 6-feet, 4 inches tall, and is already being compared to Andrew Wiggins, the number one pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
He may even grow some more as most males do not stop growing until they are in their early twenties.
“This is a God given talent. I have to use it to the best of my ability or it can be easily taken away if I don’t work as hard as I can every time I step on the floor,” Moore told WSOC-TV.
Moore currently plays on an AAU team. Dominic Bishop, an assistant coach on that team, has been training with Moore for a couple of years.
