STORRS, Conn. (AP) — The University of Connecticut is closing its campuses and cancelling classes on Monday because of the expected snowstorm.
Spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz says only essential employees and emergency workers need to report to work.
Dining services will continue uninterrupted for students living on the Storrs campus.
A widespread snowfall of about a foot is expected in southern New England beginning late Sunday night into Monday.
