The first half of this year’s Super Bowl went to a rookie that many people on social media are mistaking for an MSNBC personality.

Chris Matthews, a rookie wide receiver, had the first two catches of his career in the first half of Sunday’s game — including one for a touchdown.

Matthews, who played at Kentucky, has only appeared in three games this year after being signed off the practice squad in December. He began his career in the CFL, where he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
