Benedict Cumberbatch has found himself in the midst of a major media firestorm. The British actor was talking about racial inequality when he used the term ‘colored.’ This didn’t sit well with many people and they took to social media to lash out at him.

Benedict Cumberbatch, 38, went on to the Travis Smiley show and was discussing diversity in roles, but wound up getting into hot water after he used the “outdated” term, “colored.” The British actor’s comments were quickly criticized online, prompting him to issue a sincere apology.
