BOSTON (AP) — Boston is sending off the Super Bowl-bound New England Patriots with a rally at City Hall.

Mayor Marty Walsh is hosting the Monday celebration starting at 11 a.m. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Coach Bill Belichick will address fans. So too will Patriots team captains Tom Brady, Dan Connolly, Vince Wilfork, Devin McCourty and Matthew Slater.

Patriots’ cheerleaders, mascot “Pat Patriot” and the colonial musket-firing “End Zone Militia” will also perform. The team then heads to Glendale, Arizona, for their sixth Super Bowl appearance of the Belichick era. They face the defending champion Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 1.

The Patriots defeated the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 to advance to the title game. A controversy arose afterward over whether the Patriots used footballs that were deliberately under-inflated for a competitive advantage, which they have denied.
