Pro Football Focus recently released its All-NFC East team and two Redskins with breakout years made the cut.
Not surprisingly, outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was selected, along with the Giants’ Jason Pierre-Paul, for best edge defender.
Kerrigan had the fourth highest pass rushing grade out of 304 outside linebackers this year, along with his career highs in sacks (13.5) and forced fumbles (5).
Punter Tress Way was also awarded in the special teams grouping.
He was ranked the seventh best punter, with 24 of his 76 punts landing inside the 20-yard line.
