Keith Urban Addresses Alleged Assault At Concert

KYMX Mix 96

Concerts are supposed to be fun and an enjoyable experience. You gather with other members of your community and celebrate love for music. It is extremely unfortunate when unforgivable act like these occur. An alleged sexual assault occurred on July 26th at a Keith Urban concert. The country singer issued a statement about the incident.

Variety reports that a 17 year-old female was allegedly raped by 18 year-old Sean Murphy. The crime took place at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass. on the venue’s lawn. “My team and I were horrified to learn of the events reported in Boston this past weekend and our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected,” a statement by Urban read. “This type of behavior stands in stark contrast to the spirit of our shows.” The concert was part of Urban’s Raise ‘Em Up Tour.

Murphy was arrested at the venue. Attendees of the concert…

In a statement released in New Delhi where Secretary of State John Kerry is traveling, the U.S. and U.N. said they had gotten assurances that all parties to the conflict had agreed to an unconditional cease-fire.

“This humanitarian cease-fire will commence at 8 a.m. local time on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014. It will last for a period of 72 hours unless extended. During this time the forces on the ground will…
